It’s official! We’re exactly one week away from our 2021 Virtual Gala! So far we’ve announced special guests, speakers, and award winners, but now we’re announcing some of our featured entertainers who are joining the event!
If you haven’t already, make sure to RSVP to our Virtual Gala taking place next Thursday, May 6th at 8pm ET/5pm PT. Tickets are going fast, so grab your tickets ASAP!
Dancer, actor, and comedian James Koroni will open the event with some pre-show entertainment that's guaranteed to make you laugh as he shares his story, pokes fun at Iranian-American quirks, and highlights some of our community's wins this past year. James, also one of NIAC's 40/40 honorees, has danced for acclaimed directors, appeared in off-broadway productions, and produces original comedy skits on his YouTube and Instagram channels. New York-based Indie rock band Nouhi’s Nomad, fronted by Iranian-American musician Zachary Tirgan, will provide live music throughout the evening. Their vintage style and sensitive lyrics give their music a modern and refreshing take on indie rock. Check out some of their music here!
