Illinois – A bill to restrict e-cigarette advertising and regulate the sale of e-cigarettes and accessories passed in the Senate. It now moves to the House for consideration.

Indiana – The legislature passed a state budget that includes a new tax on e-liquids and e-cigarette devices. The tax would charge 15% on retail sales of vaping products and consumable materials and 25% on wholesalers for closed-system cartridges like JUUL.
