==============================

Millions of immigrant essential workers, including domestic workers, have kept our country running—in times of stability and crisis. Yet more than 5 million undocumented immigrant essential workers need permanent protections to live and work safely and securely in the United States.

In the face of unsafe working conditions, denied stimulus checks, school shut-downs, and Trump’s ICE deportation squads, they never stopped caring for our grandparents and homes and kids . They have become an integral part of our communities that make all other work possible.

It is beyond time the government create a pathway to citizenship for all immigrants , including essential workers, Dreamers, those with temporary status, and undocumented people, to ensure the collective well-being of our nation .

Will you add your name to ask Congress to recognize immigrant essential workers by including a pathway to citizenship as part of the economic recovery and jobs plan? [[link removed]]

Generations of immigrants have come to America in search of opportunity and have contributed to our shared wealth as a nation. But anti-immigration sentiments over the years have prevented domestic workers from receiving the support and pathway to citizenship they deserve .

No more.

Care jobs must finally become good jobs with family-sustaining wages, benefits, training, and a pathway to citizenship for immigrant workers.

This critical investment would finally acknowledge the central role women — especially Black, Latina, and Asian women, a great number of whom are undocumented — play in keeping our economy humming in times of stability and crisis. Add your name TODAY and ask Congress to remove the threat of deportation and the denial of benefits that punishes so many undocumented families. [[link removed]]

The country now faces record job losses and women — disproportionately women of color and immigrants — are feeling the deepest impact.

Without this essential workforce, all of us will suffer as COVID-19 continues to ravage our communities. That’s why Congress and the Biden administration must meet this urgent moment and ensure a pathway to citizenship for domestic workers and other essential workers as part of a just job recovery plan [[link removed]] .

Thanks for all that you do,
