Dunkin' launches coconut milk

Dunkin’ has given vegans across the U.S. yet another reason to rejoice as it just announced the addition of coconut milk to its menu options this week.

To celebrate the launch, the coffee giant has introduced three new Dunkin’ Coconut Refreshers (Pink Strawberry, Golden Peach and Purple Pomegranate) as well as a new Coconut Milk Iced Latte -- all iced, fresh and delicious just in time for the summer season.

The coconut milk may be used in place of dairy milk in any hot or cold beverage. Now that Dunkin’ has three non-dairy milk options to choose from and multiple vegan-izable food menu items, all that’s missing is a vegan donut.

Join us in congratulating Dunkin’ for its continued plant-based progress and encouraging the popular chain to roll out a vegan donut next with a quick email to Dunkin’s Vice President of Marketing & Culinary, Jill Nelson, at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=Congratulations%20on%20the%20exciting%20new%20release%20of%20Dunkin's%20new%20coconut%20milk%20option&body=Dear%20Ms.%20Nelson%2C%0A%0ACongratulations%20on%20the%20exciting%20release%20of%20Dunkin%E2%80%99s%20new%20coconut%20milk%20option%20and%20accompanying%20beverages.%20As%20a%20compassionate%20consumer%2C%20I%20am%20very%20pleased%20with%20all%20of%20the%20plant-based%20and%20non-dairy%20options%20Dunkin%E2%80%99%20has%20added%20to%20its%20menu.%20Please%20consider%20offering%20a%20vegan%20donut%20next.%20) with our sample text below or your own polite message.

Dear Ms. Nelson,

Congratulations on the exciting release of Dunkin’s new coconut milk option and accompanying beverages. As a compassionate consumer, I am very pleased with all of the plant-based and non-dairy options Dunkin’ has added to its menu. Please consider offering a vegan donut next.

Want to make vegan eating popular?
Get corporations on board.

Clearly people want this, and the demand is there. The values are there. A major part of the puzzle is practical. Vegan food just isn’t readily available in most people’s environments, relative to animal-based food. We need to bring vegan options to people where they are, right outside their doors, and we will see vegan options replacing animal-based ones.
