John,

Climate change is one of the most critical threats facing both our country and our world. Not only is it an environmental issue, but it is also a serious threat to our national security.

Earlier this year, Abigail voted to pass the Climate Action Now Act – a bill that she helped introduce. The bill would require the administration to remain in the Paris Climate Accord AND push the administration to develop an evidence-based plan for how our country can best reduce emission levels in cooperation with the agreement.

But this bill is sitting in the Senate. Can you take a moment and sign our petition calling on the Senate to pass the Climate Action Now Act?

We’re already feeling the impacts of climate change. From devastating floods to higher temperatures to species extinction to mass migration due to famine: the impacts of climate change cannot be ignored.

Please, John, can you take a moment now and stand with Abigail to support this important legislation?

Thank you,

-Bettina Weiss
