Last night, President Biden made it clear: America is on the way back.

In fits and starts, we are slowly making progress on defeating the pandemic. 43% of all Americans have gotten at least their first shot, and millions more every day. Small businesses are regaining their footing. And the American Jobs Plan will make a huge difference in rebuilding our infrastructure, setting the stage for a clean energy future, and giving families the support they need in child care, health care, and senior care.

That is the good news.

Here is the bad news: It will all be put at risk if we lose control of Congress in the 2022 election. And Republican leaders are making big plans to contest seats across the country.

Reapportionment shifted seats from blue states to red states. The old Koch Brothers network is gearing up their SuperPAC operation. Republican-controlled legislatures across the country are attacking voting rights. And Donald Trump continues to raise lots of money from his most fervent fans online.

We have a fight on our hands and I need you to pitch in right now.

I know it is early.

The next election seems a long way off.

But if there is one thing we learned in our campaign to take back the House in 2018 and win the White House and Senate in 2020, it is this: We have to organize early. We have to start now.
