John,

Today marks 100 days of the Biden presidency, andI’m so proud of all the work my Democratic colleagues and I have accomplished so far thanks to your support.

Sadly, many of our Republican colleagues have not only refused to work with us, but actively tried to stop progress from being made — and now that 2020 Census results are in, Republicans may get more political power than ever.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel reported that “Florida and Republicans are winners in new allocation of seats in Congress” based on the new based on Census reapportionment numbers.

With redistricting on the horizon, we’re going to have to fight to keep our already precarious Democratic majority in the House — and here in Palm Beach County, I might have to introduce myself to brand new voters (not to mention that my opponent is a far-right extremist and Trump is now a constituent)!

That’s where you come in. We know that we must have resources ready to keep fighting for our progressive priorities. My team tells me we’re falling short in our April fundraising and need to raise $11,800 by midnight tomorrow to be prepared for what’s next. Can you chip in $10 to help us build our campaign? My colleagues and I have passed essential COVID-19 relief for working families, pushed forward on protecting voting rights, combating systemic racism, addressing the climate crisis, and more.

We’re going to bat for you, John, but we must be ready to face this redistricting battle that will result in more Republican congressional districts.

Will you contribute $10 or whatever you can right now, John? I’m counting on you to stand with me in the fight to defend our Democratic seats here in Florida. [[link removed]]

Always,

Lois
