Friends, did you hear that Mitch McConnell said he would "absolutely" support filling a Supreme Court vacancy in 2019 or 2020?

This is the same Mitch McConnell who said his "proudest moment" in the Senate was blocking the confirmation of President Obama's Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland – stalling for months on end so he could fill the Supreme Court with judges cherry-picked by right-wing extremists.

McConnell is doing everything he can to shape our nation’s highest court for generations to come. Just moments ago, we learned the Supreme Court will take up a case that could put access to safe, legal abortion on the line – and another right-wing Supreme Court justice would even further jeopardize the future of reproductive health care and our other shared progressive values.

And friends, it's not only the Supreme Court that we have to worry about. McConnell is manipulating the rules so he can confirm dozens upon dozens of far-right ideologues to the federal bench.
