Today marks the 100th day of Joe Biden’s presidency and unified Democratic leadership in Washington.

We have a new federal government because of your hard work, organizing and voting, and what a difference it is making. For the first time in many years, we’re seeing real progress towards rebuilding our nation and building a better future for all of us. We passed the American Rescue Plan — delivering relief to millions of people — and the House has passed bold legislation on voting rights, climate change, racial justice and more. And we’re just getting started.

But this progress is fragile. Reapportionment and redistricting are underway and pundits are predicting that Republicans — who need to flip just five seats to reclaim the House majority are well positioned for the 2022 midterm elections. All of our hard-fought victories could be thwarted unless we have the resources to win key races around the country.

I’m setting a goal of raising $10,000 by tomorrow’s end-of-month deadline so that we can do our part to maintain the Democratic majority in Congress. From this transformative infrastructure and jobs plan to gun violence prevention legislation, police reform, and bold action to protect workers’ rights — we have the opportunity to build back better infrastructure and restore our core values.

But that’s only possible with Democratic majorities in Congress.
