John —

Today marks the 100th day of Joe Biden’s presidency and unified Democratic leadership in Washington.

We have a new federal government because of your hard work, organizing and voting, and what a difference it is making. For the first time in many years, we’re seeing real progress towards rebuilding our nation and building a better future for all of us. We passed the American Rescue Plan — delivering relief to millions of people — and the House has passed bold legislation on voting rights, climate change, racial justice and more. And we’re just getting started.

But this progress is fragile. Reapportionment and redistricting are underway and pundits are predicting that Republicans — who need to flip just five seats to reclaim the House majority are well positioned for the 2022 midterm elections. All of our hard-fought victories could be thwarted unless we have the resources to win key races around the country.

I’m setting a goal of raising $10,000 by tomorrow’s end-of-month deadline so that we can do our part to maintain the Democratic majority in Congress. Our first 100 days shows what can be done when we win elections. If you can, will you make a contribution today to power our Democratic majority through the next 100 days and beyond?

You know how productive we’ve been. In just 100 days, we’ve delivered trillions of dollars in COVID-19 relief, rejoined the Paris Climate Accord, taken executive action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and so much more.

Now, I’m working with House Democrats and the Biden-Harris administration to pass the American Jobs Plan to rebuild our nation’s infrastructure, create millions of well-paying jobs, and fight the climate crisis.

From this transformative infrastructure and jobs plan to gun violence prevention legislation, police reform, and bold action to protect workers’ rights — we have the opportunity to build back better infrastructure and restore our core values.

But that’s only possible with Democratic majorities in Congress.

Please consider chipping in before our end-of-month deadline on tomorrow. With your help, we can defend our House majority and continue bringing real change for working families and those hit hardest by COVID.

Thanks for all that you do.

— Jared
