My friend, remember Ruth? I will never forget the day I rescued her from an illegal animal slaughter farm – much like Sergio Rivera’s ‘slaughterhouse of horrors.’

When I entered the butcher room, I saw baby Ruth trembling in the corner of a blood-stained concrete cell, shaking uncontrollably… as she anticipated another beating. I could see the suffering in her eyes. That moment was heartbreaking for me.

Deep down, my blood was boiling, but I knew what I had to do. My job is to covertly capture the incriminating evidence so that law enforcement will arrest the heartless criminals…and throw away the key!

So, I did just that, and then I left with Ruth, the baby pig, in my arms.

You see, Ruth was one of the lucky ones. Although it took extensive and expensive rehabilitation, she is now living her best life at ARM Sanctuary with other survivors of slaughter farms.

I’m sure you will agree that no animal should ever have to suffer like Ruth and her friends did.

But the sad truth is that hundreds of thousands of farmed animals live a life nothing short of misery, full of despair, and then suffer agonizing deaths at the hands of blood thirsty killers throughout South Florida every year.

And our current target is Sergio Rivera, one of the leading culprits of animal torture in the region.

We had evidence that should’ve locked him away for a long time, but he is still at large ILLEGALLY making money off of the suffering of animals. Law enforcement knows all about it from our investigation, but they just keep making excuses for their inaction. 

Enough is enough. This needs to STOP!

The problem is, ARM is the only agency willing to venture into these hell holes, like Sergio Rivera’s killing operation, where crimes against animals are going unpunished: 

• Pigs being dragged away screaming and stabbed in the heart 
• Pet horses butchered on back roads 
• Innocent animals exploited in backyard animal fighting rings

If our team didn’t gear up and get the evidence, god-awful crimes would go unnoticed, and innocent animals would continue to be tortured, tormented, and butchered alive.

We must bring justice to the victims and provide lifetime care to survivors – don’t you agree? 

Despite the constant struggles and sacrifices, we know it is our job to be the voice of these animals and the change for their welfare. We make this happen by following our three prong-strategy:

• EXPOSE THE TRUTH: conduct investigations that capture the atrocious animal cruelty crimes, torture, and abuse of savage men like Sergio Rivera and his goons.
• FIGHT FOR CHANGE: by maintaining the pressure on law enforcement and governing agencies to do their job and make arrests on illegal and inhumane crimes against animals. When they won’t listen, we invite the tax-paying citizens to raise their voices and demand elected officials to do their jobs!  
• PROVIDE LIFETIME CARE: to survivors, like Ruth, at our world-class animal sanctuary. It is here that animals receive the medical care, nourishment, and life enrichment that they deserve for the remainder of their natural lives.

But friend, the hard fact is that our work doesn’t come easily or cheaply.

But we can only bring down as many criminals and come to the aid of as many abused animals as we can afford. And friend, providing lifelong care to survivors of animal abuse is costly. Like with Ruth’s rehabilitation.

But we did it, and we will do it again, with your help. I promised Ruth, and I promise you that I will NEVER give up protecting and saving animals.
