“To all the transgender Americans watching at home -- especially the young people who are so brave -- I want you to know that your President has your back.”

Historic words from President Biden, who in his first 100 days has taken meaningful action to strengthen protections for LGBTQ+ people. But that hasn’t stopped more than 30 state legislatures across the country from introducing hundreds of harmful bills, attacking our transgender kids. Last night, at the same time that President Biden was speaking these meaningful words, raising up our fierce trans kids, the Florida legislature was busy passing yet another anti-trans bill, this one banning transgender students from participating in school sports.

PFLAGers across the country are taking meaningful action to protect trans kids, as well as to pass the Equality Act, legislation that would protect LGBTQ+ people from discrimination, as well as shore up protections for people of color, women, and people of minority faiths.

Please give what you can to PFLAG National, today, and together we’ll work to ensure that trans kids -- and all LGBTQ+ people -- are protected from discrimination and harm

Our families will continue doing the work of bravely sharing their stories with legislators about why the Equality Act would protect their LGBTQ+ loved ones -- and the ways in which these dangerous and damaging anti-trans bills are hurting their kids. With your support today, PFLAG National will provide them the tools and the resources and staff support to get that work done.

We’re fighting for PFLAG families everywhere -- and we need you to fight with us.

Please, make a tax-deductible gift to PFLAG today -- and let’s make history together.

The President has your back … and so do we.

Onward,

Brian K. Bond (he/him)
