John, earlier this week, the results of the 2020 Census were announced–and the scale was tipped majorly into the GOP’s favor.

Notably, California and New York will both be losing a Congressional district–which could directly affect the future elections of Truth to Power candidates Mondaire Jones, Jamaal Bowman, Ritchie Torres, and Katie Porter.

When their state’s congressional districts are redrawn, these candidates could be forced into a primary just to keep their seat. We need to do all we can to prepare for the 2022 midterm elections to defend these progressive voices.
