Hello,
Twice-failed Senate candidate, John James, has made it clear that whether he decides to run for governor in 2022 or not, he will do everything he can to replace Governor Gretchen Whitmer with a Republican.
James, who was endorsed by Trump in the last election, hasn't ruled out running for statewide office for a THIRD time. But right now, the Trump ally is actively helping Michigan Republicans fundraise for the next election through his super PAC.
This news comes after the co-chair of the right-wing Unlock Michigan group officially announced his candidacy and Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel hinted that she might throw her hat in the ring, too.
These are the types of candidates we could see running against Governor Whitmer in 2022, and we need to be ready to defend the governorship.
Make a contribution of $10 or any amount before tomorrow's end-of-month deadline at midnight to help re-elect Governor Whitmer and power our important grassroots work.
