I feel for this generation of military children who know nothing but war, children who continuously say goodbye to parents deployed in a war older than them, who pay part of the cost of wars with no clear objectives.
During this Month of the Military Child, I urge you to think of the weight our country’s military children bear. The military community and its families answer a tremendous call. That service and sacrifice should be met with a firm resolve by our leaders and elected officials to demand this sacrifice only when it’s absolutely necessary. |
