When we elect Democrats who will champion our progressive values in office, we put ourselves in a stronger position to enact more legislation -- like the American Rescue Plan. It’s putting money in families’ pockets, getting shots in people’s arms, and designed to build back our country so it works for everyone -- not just corporations and the top 1%.

But it won’t be easy. Donald Trump and his right-wing extremist supporters, like J.D. Vance and Josh Mandel here in Ohio, are building up their war chests to retake the Senate and stop the progress we’re creating in Washington.

And we can count on GOP-aligned dark-money groups pouring huge sums of money into states like Ohio to tip the scales in their favor.

We’ve won tough fights before though. After all, this is the same grassroots community that powered us to a seven-point victory in a state Trump won by nearly double digits.
