John --
Dr. Al Gross started commercial fishing when he was 14-years-old.
He's been fishing Alaskan waters all his life. Al's seen up close the impact of warming waters on Alaskan fisheries. He knows it's not normal for fish to be boiling to death in streams or for our summers to have 90 degree days.
As a doctor with a background in science, Al understands that we must take on climate change with real solutions with investments in renewable energy that also create good-paying jobs.
That's why 314 Action, a grassroots community of nearly 1 million people working to elect scientists to public office, has endorsed Al's campaign for the U.S. Senate.
314 Action supports Dr. Al Gross' bid to unseat Dan Sullivan and ditch Mitch McConnell because they know he'll use science to take on climate change. But he can't do it alone. If you're concerned about the future of our planet, please chip in $5 or more now.

This past July was Alaska's warmest month on record, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Alaska is on the frontline of climate change. It's the canary in the coal mine and continued inaction is simply unsustainable.
314 Action is dedicated to sending people to Washington who understand the science behind the crisis, and have the independence to get things done. And they know Al is the fresh voice we need to take on this challenge.
Dan Sullivan and Mitch McConnell have ignored the crisis -- and the science -- to reward the special interests and big polluters who put short-term profits over people and our planet.
Al isn't taking any corporate PAC money -- he doesn't owe special interests a thing.
Now is the time to act. Stand with 314 Action and Dr. Al Gross by pitching in whatever you can to help defeat Dan Sullivan and ditch Mitch McConnell so we can get the Senate working on real, science-based solutions to climate change.
