Vacancy: Youth Participation Project Officer  

We're hiring a Youth Participation Project Officer to help increase the engagement of youth workers and young people in our European youth participation initiatives. The deadline for applications is May 17th.

We're also seeking youth workers, volunteers and young leaders to join us in making sure young voices are heard as part of the 25 Percent project - a major new European initiative NYCI is working on with the European Youth Forum.

Space and Participation for All

We believe young people should have access to their right to participate in democracy.

To this end, we have been consulting young people across Ireland through the EU Youth Dialogue process on the topic of “Space and Participation for All”.

We want to hear from young people on the kinds of public spaces they need for different purposes:
  • to spend time with each other
  • to discuss political views and meet decision-makers
  • to organise projects that are important to them
