“To all the transgender Americans watching at home — especially the young people who are so brave — I want you to know that your president has your back."
John, President Biden just finished his first address to the joint sessions of the U.S. Congress - and he did something amazing. Tonight, the President of the United States let trans and LGBTQ youth know that he's standing with them - and he's ready to fight for them.
Just hours after the Florida House passed anti-trans legislation and as numerous hateful bills await signatures from anti-LGBTQ governors, Biden's statement could not be more meaningful. But we also must act. Right now, our out elected officials and candidates are fighting against the wave of anti-trans and anti-LGBTQ legislation, and they desperately need reinforcements. Will you stand with LGBTQ kids and President Biden and stop bigoted legislation? [[link removed]]
