[link removed] [[link removed]] The 2021 legislative session is officially over, and we here at the Washington Senate Dems are proud of the tremendous progress our members made for Washingtonians across the state.

Whether it was bringing pandemic relief to communities across Washington under a new $59 billion budget, supporting our planet in the face of a climate crisis with a clean-fuels standard, or fixing our state’s upside-down tax system with a capital gains tax to fund critical childcare programs, Senate Democrats were at the forefront of important legislation.

Now, our members need your help. The official freeze on our fundraising has been lifted with the end of the session.

We must hold our majority so we can keep enacting strong bills. A big part of that will be showing our strength in big moments like the end of the session. Senate Democrats passed legislation increasing worker protections, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, expanding public contracting opportunities for women and minority-owned businesses, and increasing support for victims of sexual assault.
