Today we bring you news of a major conservation success and for WLT, it doesn’t get more special.
On its own, the Maya Forest project – the global alliance that has just saved 236,000+ acres of rainforest in Belize, with help from WLT supporters – could not be more significant. But for WLT, this new reserve holds profound meaning: it will sit right alongside the land WLT was born to save in 1989 (Rio Bravo); the habitats that inspired our very formation as a charity.
More than 30 years on and with supporters like you on our side, WLT’s vision for a living planet is stronger than ever at the Maya Forest and the other places you’re helping us save. From us and our partners, thank you!
