Committee hearings on Republicans' voter suppression bills kick off tomorrow.
Hello,

As COVID-19 cases surge in Michigan, state Senate Majority Leader Mike Shirkey and Republicans have their priorities in order: They're holding committee hearings on a package of voter suppression bills.

There's no doubt these voter suppression efforts are a direct response to the historic turnout we saw in this last election. Michiganders came out in record-breaking numbers to send Democrats to the White House and Congress.

Shocked that they lost those races, the Michigan Republican Party has decided to rig the rules to make it harder for Michiganders to vote. We need to do everything in our power to stop these anti-democratic bills from becoming law.

Please rush a grassroots donation of $10 or whatever you can before our end-of-month deadline on Friday at midnight. Every dollar will be used to help protect our access to the ballot box and support Democrats statewide.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

We know how to defeat voter suppression. But these attacks mean we have to take our organizing and voter protection efforts to the next level — and we have to do it now.

We're already mobilizing our volunteers and building up our voter protection department to take on these fights. But these programs require your early investment and support to be effective, which is why we have to ask:

Can we count on you to pitch in $10 or more before our end-of-month deadline so that our party has the resources it needs to fight these attacks on voting rights?

Thank you,

Team MDP
