In Congress, my colleagues are constantly discussing how we can protect our environment and tackle the climate crisis head on by reducing carbon emissions and taking excess carbon dioxide out of our atmosphere.
 
And what I tell them is that many of Iowa’s farmers already know how to do that: by capturing additional carbon in their land through conservation practices, which in turn improves the health of our soil while lowering our carbon footprint.
 
This is a great opportunity for our farmers, and I’ve already begun working with my colleagues to see how we promote the use of these climate-conscious practices while supporting our farmers. I want to hear from you:
