Welcome our newest state chairs! Meredith Freedoff, Ohio
Meredith Freedoff, Ohio State Chair
Meredith Freedhoff is a native of Pickerington, Ohio. She was the first person in her family to attend and graduate from college and she earned her degree from Capital University in 1988 in Marketing.

After college, Meredith’s career took her to New York for 8 years where she worked for companies such as CBS News 88, Nippon Television Network and Sony. She has also lived in Dallas and Toronto, Canada for 5 years where she worked for Intuit Software.

Meredith returned to Ohio and settled in New Albany in 2004 with her two children; her son Declan who is 17 and a Junior at New Albany High School and her daughter Merritt, who is 21 and a Senior at The Ohio State University. She is married to Adam Roslovic, a financial planner with Edelman Financial Engines.

For the last 10 years, Meredith has been an advocate, volunteer and fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and other non-profit organizations in Franklin County such as Compassion’s Way, Stowe Mission, and Out of Darkness. These organizations combat drug addiction, poverty and human trafficking, and it is Meredith’s goal to continue to work to defeat these epidemics in Ohio.

In 2020, Meredith was the Republican endorsed candidate for Ohio House District 19. As a candidate, she learned what it takes to run a campaign and developed strong relationships with conservative voters across the state. It is her desire to continue encouraging and supporting conservative women to run for office. She is truly looking forward to her new role as Ohio Chair and promoting fiscal conservatism, less government and national security with the Maggie’s List Team.

Endorsed ML Winner Spotlight: Michelle Steel, CA-48
Rep. Michelle Steel, CA-48

Congresswoman Michelle Steel is serving her first term representing California’s 48^th District. Born in South Korea and raised in Japan, Michelle immigrated to the United States to build her own American Dream. She is one of the first Korean American women to ever serve in Congress.

After fleeing North Korea during the Korean War, her parents met and built a life in South Korea before moving to Japan. Her father, a diplomat, encouraged Michelle at a young age to move to the United States to become fluent in English. Her mother and younger sisters joined her in America, where they opened a clothing store in downtown Los Angeles.

After seeing how difficult it was for her non-English speaking mother to navigate the tax laws and state regulations, she ran for the State Board of Equalization - the nation’s only elected tax board – where she represented more than nine million residents, including all of Orange County. At the time, she was the highest-ranking Korean American elected official in the United States.

Michelle later served her community as Supervisor and Chairwoman of the Orange County Board of Supervisors. She continued her work fighting for California taxpayers, while working to protect the Orange County coastline, and helping families and businesses fight back against the COVID-19 pandemic.

Michelle currently serves on the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, as well as the Committee on Education and Labor.
Congressional Partner Spotlight: Rep. Dan Webster, FL-11
Rep. Dan Webster, FL-11

From his first day in leadership, Webster worked to reform the way the Legislature did business, and his sweeping conservative reforms earned him widespread praise from the people of Florida. As Speaker of the House, Webster required each proposed law to meet specific criteria that would determine its effectiveness in advancing conservative principles.

Daniel Webster was elected to the Florida Senate in 1998 and served as Majority Leader his final three years. Being known as a man of his word, Webster continued to gain respect and acclaim on both sides of the aisle for his solid principles and trusted leadership.

Through experienced eyes, Webster sees many unacceptable practices going on in Washington today. He knows first hand how to fix broken government, restore forgotten values and create effective practices and policy. There will be no waiting period at the taxpayers expense- Daniel Webster is ready today.

Daniel Webster has been celebrated and endorsed by nearly every respected conservative leader with whom he has worked to inspire change. He has been heralded as a responsible advocate with the ability to deliver on his promise. Webster proudly acknowledges his faith, his family, and his principles as his greatest assets. These are the same values he relies on to guide him as our U.S. Congressman.
