John,

In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a contribution to support the important work of Defend the Senate as we approach our April end-of-month deadline.

You can make a contribution here, but please keep reading for more on why our work is so critical right now.

Democrats have three big jobs that are equally important to protecting our slim Senate majority and preventing McConnell and his right-wing yes-men from taking back power.

We’ve got to protect vulnerable incumbents like Catherine Cortez Masto, flip open seats in states like Pennsylvania, and defeat incumbent Republicans like Ron Johnson.

Boy, it’s a lot of work!

But if we slip up and lose even one seat, we hand our Senate majority back to Mitch McConnell and fail to deliver lasting progress on healthcare, infrastructure, and raising the minimum wage.

There’s a big deadline coming up on Friday, and every dollar we raise is going directly towards our efforts to save our Democratic Senate majority — money we’ll need to defend candidates from the tens of millions Republicans are already pouring into crucial battleground states.

Defend the Senate is setting a $100,000 fundraising goal to fight back, but we need to hit in the next 72 hours. So I’m making a personal request:

John, will you donate $10 or any amount to power our work to defend Democrats across the country? I’ll be so grateful to know you chipped in.

They say elections are more like a marathon than a sprint, and we’ve got a lot of work ahead. So let’s get to it!

Thanks,

James Carville
