Across the country, our rights are under attack—including our right to vote, our reproductive rights, and trans people’s right to exist. It’s time to change an undemocratic institution making huge decisions about justice, equity, and our future: the Supreme Court.

Even though Democrats have won the popular vote in 7 of the last 8 presidential elections, Republicans have appointed far more justices to the Supreme Court. We now have a right-wing supermajority, including two seats that Mitch McConnell and his allies recently stole from the American people and gave to Trump.  

Please sign on if you support expanding the Supreme Court, so we can make up for this injustice and ensure that our nation’s highest court actually represents the American people.

With lifelong appointments, justices make important decisions that affect our lives for a long time after the presidential administration that nominated them.

Such decisions could expand our human rights, but often the conservative majority has gutted our progress. They’ve used the Supreme Court to undermine and dismantle our democracy, including by watering down the Voting Rights Act and enabling partisan gerrymandering.

While gaslighting our country and trying to undermine our free and fair elections, Trump and his allies targeted Black and brown voters in 2020’s presidential election. But with record voter turnout, the people gave a resounding mandate to change our unjust status quo.

If we're serious about the transformational change the people are crying out for, we must expand the Supreme Court. We’ve changed the size of the Supreme Court before, and it’s time to do so again, with the Judiciary Act of 2021.
