Dear Friend,

Denim Day is here! Thank you for joining with us in this campaign and in this movement. Started 22 years ago as a small grassroots campaign, Denim Day now reaches millions of individuals all over the globe with the shared goals of supporting survivors and educating each other about sexual violence. Together we can challenge, disrupt and dismantle rape culture!

** Press Conference
------------------------------------------------------------
Tune in for our Denim Day 2021 Press Conference at LA City Hall

Local elected leaders, wearing their jeans in solidarity with survivors of rape and sexual assault, will gather on the steps of Los Angeles City Hall to proclaim April 28th Denim Day in Los Angeles. The annual observance raises awareness about sexual violence and the need to support and protect survivors. Led by LA City Council President Nury Martinez, the elected officials will discuss the importance of Denim Day, supporting and keeping Angelenos safe, and the challenges survivors face during the ongoing pandemic and the need for robust support as people return to school, work and the community. Remarks will also be made in Spanish.
