I just got this email from my Deputy Finance Director:

Eric, it's going to be close. I think we can get to that 1,000 donor mark but we're really going to need a push here. We're using a lot of our resources right now to counter these GOP attack ads, so we can't try anything fancy here to help us meet our goal--we really just need grassroots supporters to chip in what they can and help us get there.

Yesterday we set an end-of-month goal of 1,000 more donations before Friday at midnight. And John, I’ll be honest — it’s going to be down to the wire.

The GOP hasn’t stopped their attacks. They’re going to keep trying every dirty trick in the book to take me out. My team and I are fighting back, but we need more resources to keep up our momentum.
