Current bills in North Dakota and Alabama will ban transgender girls from participating in school sports consistent with their gender identity.
Similar legislation in Florida will also force transgender kids to prove their assigned-at-birth sex through invasive medical tests like “an examination of their reproductive anatomy.”
Lawmakers in Texas want to classify gender-affirming medical treatment as “child abuse” which could take transgender kids away from their parents.
These bills are being passed and considered in states we specifically target for electing progressive candidates. Plus we’re working year-round to STOP Republicans and their discriminatory, anti-LGBTQ+ policies.
