I'm writing to let you know I'm running for Mayor of Manchester!
It is an honor to serve as the Mayor of Manchester. Over the last three years, we have confronted opportunity and hardship together. We have seen historic levels of economic development, educational investment, and a continued reduction in crime. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, our progress was interrupted, but it has not stopped.
This past year has forced us to tackle challenges in new ways. We created an Emergency Housing Assistance Program to help renters and homeowners to recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
We established the Small Business Resiliency Grant to help businesses across the city, while saving and growing jobs. We streamlined the permitting process and expanded outdoor dining for our restaurants, helping our local businesses stay afloat. We took decisive action to keep our school community safe, and continue learning.
I’m running for Mayor in 2021 to ensure our city fully recovers from this pandemic, builds upon our progress and comes out of this stronger than before. It’s an honor to lead this city. I’m so grateful for this community, and would be honored to have your continued support to serve another term as Mayor.
