On Saturday, we announced our $30,000 end-of-month online fundraising
goal. With just a few days before our monthly deadline, I wanted to give
you a quick update:

To be honest, April has so far been the slowest fundraising month this
year for our campaign — and it’s important that we catch up. Let me
explain why: 

* Our campaign rejects all corporate contributions and we don’t spend a
minute doing call time. We’re truly relying on grassroots donations to
pay our staff a living wage, run ads, pay for our digital tools, and
more. 

* Our average online contribution this month is $13.50. Every month,
individual supporters invest in our movement — donating what they can
afford, whenever they can — so every contribution makes a big impact! 

* Ayanna is focused on advocating and legislating for justice and
equity. Every donation helps us increase public awareness and build
momentum for bold, visionary policy solutions like a federal job
guarantee and ending qualified immunity.
