John,
We released a scorecard of President Joe Biden’s first 100 days — the
good, the so-so, and the bad. And he’s been bad on
healthcare, John.
The pandemic laid bare the dark reality that our health care system is
broken. We need Medicare for All in this country, that is clear. But Pres.
Biden campaigned on a promise to expand health care coverage through a
public option and lowering the Medicare eligibility age. He’s done neither
so far. He even signaled that neither of these policies would make it into
his next big economic package.

to improve and expand public health care coverage to tens of millions of
people. Can you donate $3 to help us pressure the White
House to take action immediately?

Pres. Biden is speaking to a joint session of Congress to present his next
big economic package. As millions have lost health insurance during the
pandemic, we need to convince him right away to improve and expand
Medicare. Lowering the Medicare eligibility age could get 40 million
people good, low-cost coverage. Expanding Medicare to include vision,
dental, and hearing coverage can get folks much-needed care that they’ve
had to forego under current Medicare limitations — the out-of-pocket cost
was just too much.
Justice Democrats in Congress are continuing to fight for Medicare for
All, but covering Americans 55 and over is a critical step President Biden
agreed to in his campaign and can take right now. We’re fighting alongside
organizations like Sunrise Movement to ensure Biden keeps his promises on
health care — because so far, the Biden administration’s health care
policy has been unsatisfactory.
[ [link removed] ]Fuel our fight for progressive health care policy as we push towards
Medicare for All by chipping in whatever you can today. Joe Biden needs to
act on health care — he hasn’t done nearly enough so far.
In solidarity,
