To be honest, fundraising has been really rough this month. My team says it’s likely we’ll miss our April fundraising goal this Friday.

Look, I get it. After four years of Donald Trump’s disastrous presidency, folks are tuning out now that we have a Democrat in the White House. But here’s the truth: Donald Trump only lost Wisconsin by 0.6%.

That’s why Mitch McConnell and his rolodex of shady megadonors think they can retake the Senate majority by winning in Wisconsin next year — setting the stage to make this race one of the most expensive and competitive battlegrounds in the country.

So, we can’t afford to miss a single fundraising deadline right now. If McConnell flips just one Senate seat, Democrats will lose the majority and he’s back in the business of halting progress at the chamber doors.
