We just got word that the House Administration Committee is holding another meeting regarding Jim Oberweis’ official contest of the 2020 election. This will be the second official meeting the House Administration Committee will be having -- so this is a big deal.

So while we know the results of the election will not change, Mr. Oberweis is setting a dangerous precedent by continuing to fight these results.

Jim Oberweis’ entire political career (if you can call it one) has been built on stoking fear, spreading disinformation, and promoting hateful rhetoric. So we weren’t surprised to find out he was taking his election contest all the way to the U.S. House.

Even people in Oberweis’ own party agree that this has gone on for far too long. While Lauren Underwood has been working hard for the people of IL-14, Mr. Oberweis has spent the last six months trying to overturn the results of a free and fair election from his vacation home in Florida.
