Every election, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) releases a list of the most vulnerable House Democrats, called Frontline Members—and Katie is on the list for 2022.
What’s more, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) has put Katie on a list, too: they’ve identified her as a priority to defeat in the midterms and to flip CA-45 back red.
There’s just no way to sugarcoat it. Democrats barely held on to our House majority and lost many vulnerable seats last November, and we’ll be going into the midterm cycle on the defense—with the goal of not only to flip seats, but also to keep ones that are vulnerable, like Katie’s.
