President Biden's nominees for the USPS Board of Governors had their first Senate hearing last week. These nominees are critical to changing the balance of power on the Postal Service board, and finally getting rid of Trump's Postmaster General, Louis DeJoy, who is dead set on undermining the USPS.

Can you take 30 seconds and sign the petition to demand the Senate confirm President Biden's nominees so we can fire Postmaster General Louis DeJoy?

Once these nominees are approved, there would be a 5-to-4 majority capable of ousting DeJoy.¹

Even though Donald Trump is no longer president, his hand-picked Postmaster General still poses a major threat to our Postal Service. DeJoy, a political mega-donor with no previous USPS experience—spent most of last year trying to destroy the USPS. He made headlines for imposing outrageous restrictions on postal workers, removing mailboxes by the truckload, and aiding Trump’s plot to silence mail-in voters (in the midst of a pandemic!).

We have a new president, but DeJoy remains determined to destroy the United States Postal Service. In fact, he just unveiled a 10-year plan for the USPS that would further slow down first-class mail delivery and raise postage prices. That would cause fewer people to use the USPS, resulting in a "death spiral" for our valued Postal Service.

But, here is what we can do. When Biden's nominees are confirmed, the Board will finally have the votes needed to oust DeJoy. That’s why we’re calling on the Senate to act immediately. Every day that DeJoy remains in charge, our USPS is in jeopardy.

Americans count on the Postal Service every day to safely deliver paychecks, life-saving medications, letters from their loved ones, and more. We need a Postmaster who believes in the USPS!
