Friends,
Since 2014 we’ve heard a lot about the water crisis in communities like Flint, MI that have been devastated by exposure to toxic lead pipes. We know that high levels of lead in drinking water have left children and families dealing with serious health problems, but we have not done enough to address this problem.
We know that the Flint water crisis is not over -- and without updates to older homes that were built using this hazardous material, it’s not going to end.
We must take action to fix the problem, and we cannot wait. That’s why I’m sponsoring a petition to demand federal action on this critical issue.
