Dear John,

The 100% Clean Energy for All Act is one of our top priorities for a healthy Oregon this legislative session and I wanted to make sure you had a chance to support it today. This is a must-pass bill which will help ensure a just transition to clean energy for all, while creating high-quality good paying jobs.

Will you make sure your elected officials in the state legislature know that they need to vote YES for 100% Clean Energy For All? All it takes is a few minutes of your time to help create the momentum this bill needs to get across the finish line this session. [Take action: [link removed]]

Thank you for all that you do!

Hi John,

What if by 2040 or sooner all our electricity was from 100% clean energy? It’s entirely achievable, absolutely necessary, and now is the time to get started. Are you in?

If you think Oregon should make 100% clean energy a reality, then join us in actively (and virtually) supporting House Bill 2021 – the 100% Clean Energy for All Act – and email your lawmakers today! [Take action: [link removed]]

Passing the 100% Clean Energy for All Act would mean big things for our state. Our electricity would be powered by 100% emissions-free sources, like wind and solar, by 2040 at the latest. Utilities would have major incentives for prioritizing in-state wind, solar, microgrids, and battery storage projects, all which will create local jobs and make our grid more resilient in the face of extreme weather. Our state would be taking steps to right the wrongs of past environmental injustices by maximizing economic opportunities to environmental justice communities, meaning rural and low-income communities, Black people, Indigenous people, and other people of color, and Tribal Nations. We would be creating good jobs with strong labor standards for new projects, including prevailing wage and apprenticeship opportunities.

It would also be a great step on climate change at a time when we are at a climate crossroads. There will never be an easier time to choose climate action than right now. Not only will passing 100% clean in Oregon set our state in the right direction on climate, but it will also boost support for President Biden’s efforts to pass 100% clean at the federal level. So, let’s get started today to achieve a just and equitable climate future for all. Can you email your lawmakers today and ask them to pass the 100% Clean Energy for All Act? [Take action: [link removed]]

This climate justice bill would flip the switch to make our power work for our communities and our climate future, not for big corporations who choose to protect their bottom line over protecting our families and environment. It’s a win for Oregon and beyond, for right now and for our future. And it’s time to get started.

There’s a lot to love about the 100% Clean Energy for All Act, which is one of a trio of climate justice bills being led by frontline climate and environmental justice groups statewide, including the Oregon Just Transition Alliance.

Please help us get it passed by emailing your lawmakers today! [Take action: [link removed]] We are more than halfway through the legislative session, and your lawmakers need to hear from you on why passing the 100% Clean Energy for All Act matters.

Thank you for speaking up!
