Hey all --

As you know, we’re dangerously close to falling short on our April fundraising goal. As of 9:37 AM, we need to raise another $32,645.63. I know it’s early in the game, but missing even a single deadline puts us at risk.

To be blunt, we raised less in Q1 than all the other 2022 Democratic Senate seats CNN ranked as flippable. That puts a target on our back just as Mitch McConnell and his right-wing groups are looking for vulnerable seats to attack.

We knew that Michael being the only Senator up for re-election to reject corporate PAC and federal lobbyist money would put us at a disadvantage, which is why we need a strong grassroots team to make up the difference.

Look, we know what it’s going to take to win. Our budget tells us exactly how much money we need to raise every month to launch new ads, invest in our ground game in all 64 counties, rally Michael’s grassroots volunteers, and fight back against whatever Washington Republicans will throw our way.

That’s why we can’t afford to come up short on our fundraising goal and look weak. Not with so much on the line. I know we can get there, but this will be an all-hands-on-deck effort.
