Here’s the first edition of what we’re calling the Kuster Chronicle. This is your #1 most trusted source for all things Team Kuster. It’s been an incredible month for Annie and the entire team. In September, we met with presidential candidates, attended the New Hampshire Democratic Convention, had a roundtable discussion with the Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire and attended the student-led climate protests. Here’s a wrap-up of what we’ve done and where we’ve been >>> We had an amazing time in Manchester for the New Hampshire Democratic Convention! As one of the speakers, Annie reminded us of the grassroots strength and resilience that allowed the Democratic Party to not only take back the House in 2018, but also the New Hampshire House, Senate AND the Executive Council. Let’s see that enthusiasm again in 2020! Meeting with Democratic Presidential Candidates Over the last few months, Annie has been fortunate to welcome some of the presidential candidates to New Hampshire. We’re so lucky to have so many extraordinary people running to represent the greatest country in the world! Working Alongside the Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire In Concord, Annie toured the Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire's new offices and sat in to discuss the incredible work they do to support survivors and end all violence against women. The roundtable discussion focused on how critical it is to continue the fight to reauthorize the Violence Against Women Act. This crucial piece of legislation is currently collecting dust on the desk of Mitch McConnell, who won’t even let a vote happen in the Senate. Annie will always believe that the effort to end violence against women should never be partisan. Save Our Planet! On September 20th, students from around the world went on a Climate Strike to bring awareness to the devastating effects of climate change. Annie showed her support from Washington D.C. with Amelia from Concord who joined Greta Thurnberg and millions of other young folks to take action on one of the most pressing issues of our time. That’s it for this edition of the Kuster Chronicle. Come back next month to keep up with everything that Annie and the entire campaign are doing. You can also keep up with us on Facebook and Twitter. Thank you and we’ll see you soon, Team Kuster Annie has established a record of putting aside party politics to focus on the issues that matter most to Granite Staters. She's worked with members of both parties to prioritize job creation and economic opportunity, and support New Hampshire veterans, women, students and seniors.
