In February, the NRCC (National Republican Congressional Committee) named Josh one of their top targets. Their announcement put the spotlight on Josh — and now dark-money and special interest groups are targeting us

And just a few weeks ago, the Cook Political Report released the big news: based on their analysis of elections in NJ-5, we are an R+1 district. That means one thing: Republicans have a statistical advantage here.
This is the second most competitive in New Jersey, and it’s an uphill battle. We have to keep Josh in Congress by making an effort every single day.

On top of all of this, we’re fighting against historical trends.
Typically in a non-presidential election year, voter turnout is low — making Congressman like Josh an easy target. And during the first big election after a new president is inaugurated, the House usually flips to the other party.
The seats that flip are competitive districts like NJ-5 — this means Josh is in extreme danger. But here’s what sets us apart: we can see the threats ahead of time, and we can work to stop them.
