A lot of political candidates launch their campaigns, and then end up
spending hours and hours each day on the phone courting wealthy corporate
donors.

That's NOT what I want this campaign to look like. You won't catch me
begging corporate PACs for giant checks or calling up rich mega-donors
from dark money groups.

Instead, I'd much rather call you,

This Friday at midnight marks an important end-of-month deadline for our
campaign, so I struck up a deal with my team: As a way of saying thank you
for donating ahead of this big
deadline, I'll personally call a few of yinz who decide to chip in.

This is a grassroots-led campaign, through and through. And that's a fact
that I'm beyond humbled by.

Our campaign is about fighting for working families from *every single
one* of Pennsylvania's 67 counties — so I think it's only right that
that's who's powering this thing, too. But it's not lost on me that
donating your hard-earned dollars to a campaign is a big deal, and that
not everyone can afford to do so.

So, it felt like the *least* I could do is call a few of you guys to say
thank you.

We're coming up on our end-of-month deadline in just three days, and we've
set a goal to reach 150,000 grassroots donors to our campaign by Friday at
midnight. I've gotta ask:
