The U.S. Census just released reapportionment data, and states have learned how many seats they have in Congress for the next decade. Making our democracy more representative is always a good thing. Here’s the issue:
Legislatures and commissions all over the country are about to draw new congressional maps, and states where Republicans have full control of the redistricting process just netted two seats from reapportionment, while states with Democratically controlled legislatures lost one.
Every seat matters: Republicans will only need to win five seats more than the 213 they won in 2020 to flip control of the House. With this news, we have to start preparing now for the 2022 elections. Can you help? Chip in $5 or more today to defend our NewDem Majority!

This news means every Democratic-controlled House seat we have matters that much more.
Thank you for doing your part to help us keep the House blue in 2022. We are definitely still in this fight. In fact, we’re just getting warmed up.
