We’re wrapping up April, and it’s a month that’s been full of hope and hard work!


This month started off in high gear with our 2021 Liberal National Convention – the largest policy convention in our party’s history – with well over 4,000 Canadians taking part online. We also had more than 10,000 Canadians taking part in our Open Policy Process before and during the convention, and sharing their ideas for a better Canada.


Last week, Chrystia Freeland also unveiled Budget 2021, which lays out our Liberal government’s plan to finish the fight against COVID-19 and invest in jobs and growth for all Canadians. At the same time, our local teams have continued to check in on neighbours and reach out to Canadians about your priorities for a better future.


Friend, the work we’ve done together this month is paving the way for the work that’s ahead.


From growing our movement in every part of Canada, to the determined work that Justin Trudeau and our Liberal government are doing every day to keep Canadians safe, healthy, and supported – this is how we will keep Canada moving forward, together.

It’s because of you that we’re making important progress to create good new jobs, invest in the middle class and most vulnerable, support families, fight climate change, and invest in health care to protect Canadians now and into the future.


April has been a busy month, friend – but it’s not over yet! Right now, we’re also working to reach our crucial end-of-April online fundraising goal to support our movement’s work to build a better future for all Canadians. Especially in a minority Parliament, with Erin O’Toole’s Conservatives pledging to roll back our progress, we can never take any of our shared goals for granted.
