J Street

Dear Friend --

With the J Street National Conference now just a few weeks away (!), we’re excited to announce our first group of confirmed speakers.

First off, we’re pleased to welcome House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer to the stage for our National Gala. At such a tense and important moment in Washington, we look forward to hearing from two leaders at the forefront of the response to the Trump administration’s reckless policies and increasingly erratic and dangerous behavior.

Senator Chris Van Hollen and Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal will also be speaking at the gala. These prominent congressional leaders will join us for a moderated discussion on American leadership in the Middle East, what can be done to address the damage Trump and Netanyahu have done to the US-Israel relationship and the impact of J Street’s voice in the halls of Congress.

Register now to join us at our 2019 National Conference: Rise to the Moment.

In case you missed it: last week -- following the bombshell news that the Arab Joint List would officially step off the sidelines and recommend Benny Gantz for Prime Minister -- we confirmed that Joint List Leader Ayman Odeh will be a keynote speaker at the conference, along with another prominent progressive Israeli lawmaker, Democratic Union Leader Nitzan Horowitz.

In the coming days, we’ll be in touch with some exciting updates about other speakers -- including some 2020 presidential candidates. Please stay tuned, spread the word, check the website for our new programming updates and make sure you’re registered to join us in DC.

This is a challenging time for our community. Let’s rise to the moment together.

Thank you so much for your support.

J Street is the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans who want Israel to be secure, democratic and the national home of the Jewish people. Working in American politics and the Jewish community, we advocate policies that advance shared US and Israeli interests as well as Jewish and democratic values, leading to a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
