Critical Aid Leads to a Better Future [link removed]

Sadeen* clung to her three-month-old son, Rayan, and ran — dodging flying debris and coughing as she breathed in thick smoke from bombs and missiles going off around her. She and her husband, Ameer, fled for their lives as the army attempted to capture him. They sought refuge in a neighboring country, but life there has not been easy.

Now, eight years later, Ameer and Sadeen struggle to provide for their four children in a foreign land. Ameer longs to take good care of his family, but the cost of living is expensive in their new country, and it is illegal for him to work. They struggle to have the basic items they need to live and build a better future.

The family of six lives in a village where our national team members work. The day our team visited the family their oldest daughter, Sarah, was away at school. She came home to discover that our team had delivered CarePacks full of school supplies for her and her siblings, along with other critical aid like tarps, clothing, and shoes. Sarah was elated and celebrated over the clothing and new school supplies. Sadeen told our team what a gift this was to them and how she has even started using the school supplies to teach her younger children at home.

Support from you and other ministry partners has made it possible for Unto® to provide humanitarian assistance to people like Ameer and Sadeen who live in the toughest places where humanitarian aid is often the main reason authorities allow ministry to continue.

Our local team formed a relationship with Ameer and Sadeen and at the right time, they shared the hope of Jesus with them. The generosity of people like you helped provide essential humanitarian supplies to families like this one and ensures they experience the kindness of Jesus and hear about His eternal hope. Together we are relieving suffering, restoring dignity, and revealing hope.
