I will never forget that rain-soaked November day in 2004 when the Clinton Presidential Center opened its doors. We had spent an entire year planning every last detail of the dedication ceremony, but torrential rain was the great equalizer for the 30,000 people who gathered for the occasion. Whether it was a world leader, celebrity, or proud Arkansan, we were all in the same boat — wet and cold.
But the rain didn’t dampen our spirits nor our shared commitment to continue the work. And that unforgettable day marked the beginning of a new chapter in Arkansas’ capital city, with the opening of a new destination for culture, education, presidential history, and above all, community.
Today, I’m so proud of the Center’s impact and service to our community.
With support from friends like you, we have provided free educational programs to more than 450,000 students; recently distributed over 700,000 meals to those in need; and hosted a crowd of over 15,000 people to hear the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Please consider making a donation today to allow us to build upon this important work. The Clinton family will double your gift so you can have twice the impact.
It’s been an incredible 20 years at the Clinton Foundation, and I can’t wait to see what’s next. Thank you for your generosity and support.
Sincerely,
