It's official, John.
Here's what we know:
FIRST: Unlike Donald Trump, Governor Newsom responded to the pandemic by putting science first, speeding up vaccine deployment, and helping struggling families get back to normal life.
NOW: The Republicans' recall push still got the signatures they needed. Now Donald Trump's campaign operatives are swooping in to prop up Caitlyn Jenner as their candidate of choice. They have easy access to Trump's massive list of donors and activists in California. That's a problem.
If we don't come to Newsom's defense early, we risk losing California to a pseudo-celebrity and pro-Trump candidate. There's simply too much at stake -- progress on COVID relief, climate change, and more -- to let California fall to someone so inexperienced.
John, this is critically important. Can you chip in -- $5 or whatever you can afford -- directly to Governor Newsom's campaign against this baseless Republican recall? This is Democrats' time to stand strong and united.

The California recall will be an important test of our grassroots strength headed into the 2022 midterms. It's our job to communicate with voters about the work leaders like President Biden and Governor Newsom are doing to get America back on its feet -- despite Trump's lack of action on the pandemic.
