I’m fed up with the lack of investment in our infrastructure in northern New Jersey. Our bridges, roads and train tracks are crumbling, endangering rider safety, damaging our economy, and making commuting to work impossible.

But this problem is about to become a whole lot more complicated as the effects of climate change worsen.

Having reliable transportation is a safety issue for all, but as flooding intensifies and the sea level creeps up, public transportation becomes a top priority, especially for those populations most vulnerable to climate change.

Do you stand with me on this, friend? I need us to have a united front when it comes to demanding more investment in our infrastructure in the face of climate change. [link removed]

We have an opportunity here to update our infrastructure, take action on climate change and create thousands of more jobs. Why don’t we take it?

I hope I can count on you to join me in telling Congress to stop dragging their feet on this. I’ve been pushing for this kind of investment for years and I will continue to do whatever it takes to make sure this gets done.

I know you’re with me on infrastructure investment. Can you show that to me now by signing on to my petition? [link removed]

Thanks,
