We are looking for a tallented and experienced individual who holds a Level 2 in Teaching Aquatics to oversee the safe supervision School Swimming lessons and Water Safety lessons in acordance with Nottingham City Council Guidance and pool safety operating procedures. The postholder must ensure all relevant Health and Safety legislation and procedures are consistantly?followed in the delivery of lessons, a Health and Safety qualification or relevant experience is desirable.?

Working?over?six Nottingham City Leisure Centres, and two external sites the post holder will be responsible for?the deployment and line management of Swimming Teachers for the delivery of lessons to the agreed standards laid out?by the swimming plan and National Curruculum Outcomes.? The postholder is expected to manage HR functions (such as recruitment, induction, absence management)?and implement the Performance Appraisal programme for Swimming Teachers.

Experience in supervising staff is essential?as the post holder?will provide support for?Swimming Teachers?in monitoring and evaluating lessons, strong observational and communication skills are essential.?
