Are you ready to get involved further in the political process? Now is the time to find out!
May is when most legislative districts (LDs) and county-level chapters do their first round of candidate endorsements in the spring, before things really start to heat up over the summer and get HOT during final endorsements and primary voting in the fall. If you want to get involved, NOW is the perfect time to reach out to your local party!
Besides reaching out to your local LDs and endorsements committees across many different nonprofit and governmental bodies, we're also celebrating the end of the state legislative session with a bunch of FANTASTIC new progressive wins for better housing, climate, and transportation choices in the future. Don't forget to reach out to your city, county, and state representatives and thank them for a powerfully progressive legislative session!
And finally, if you've been involved in your local or county Young Dems chapter for a while and want to up your game, now is a perfect time to run for the executive board of Young Democrats of Washington! KCYD will be representing our membership proudly this upcoming weekend, April 30th to May 2nd, as we vote in new leadership and new bylaws.
